Are we that far along already? I’m keep counting the weeks on my spreadsheet and it just doens’t feel that we’re that far in. Then again, I’m having a bit of denial about it being almost half way thru March…
At any rate, week 12 is just too far back for me to rmember really. Suffice to say that according to my numbers and my notes, I had some push up panic this week which led to a 1200 week total. I started stepping up my cycling workouts a bit, too. Not doing more necessarily, but dedicating the whole lunch hour to a ride when I could.
Week 13 rolled in March. I didn’t get enough mileage that week due to the fact that I have this constant cough. Still, I did get a couple of good rides in and managed 30 miles by the end of the week. By March 1st I was all caught up on my katas and that felt good. Just 100 behind on my push ups which is no biggy. I see that I need to concentrate more on logging/counting/doing acts of kindness. So… there’s that…
Week 14 was steady. All the numbers looking good. Our Saturday UBBT class was great. It left my well used hamstrings very tight. I like the extra time we get to be very specific with the training.
Working on book 3. I’ve almost got one kata learned and that feels AWESOME. Sparring is a great challenge. It’s interesting to know that even when I think I’m in pretty good cardio shape, a few rounds of sparring will humble me quickly. Room for improvement…
