I started my test December First 2022, this is how its been going. Just like Dirk and David my goals are the same, 50,000 push-ups, 50,000 sit-ups, 1000 acts of kindness, 1000 rounds of sparing, 15 minutes of mediation everyday, read 6 books, 1000 repetitions of a single kata, and my 1000 mile journey. And I think that if I could describe this first month in one word it would be sore. I have been sore probably everyday, but it has definitely been worth it. I’ve been having a great time and getting out and biking for my miles and getting down and doing my push-ups and sit-ups has been really refreshing. Only 12 more months to go, piece of cake (I’m lying).

The first month is definitely the ‘sore’ month. The good news is, this means your body is experiencing change and it will adapt. You likely get in the best shape of your life during this coming year sir!
