Lucas Grant: Week 18

Getting back to Sacramento was a huge relief. Even though the trip to Washington was fun, being back home feels so nice. Especially because the weather feels like spring (finally). That’s a huge bonus from Washington where it was very cold. It is also amazing to see my friends and sleep in my own bed. Going back to school felt weird because being gone for a week feels like you’ve been gone forever. It took me a second to remember how to write. Going off of school, I got my grade for my personal project, it is scored 1-8. That means if you get a 4 or above you are allowed to stay at my school without a hitch. But if you get lower you will be put on “academic probation”, that means your grades will be watched closely and that adds a lot more stress. Luckily I got a 7! So my worrying can all be over and I can take a sigh of relief. Another big school thing that’s going to take place is my prom. Which includes all of the highschool grades because my school is so small. Nevertheless, I bet it will be super fun. I went last year and I had a great time, aso my hopes are high. Even though it’s a small school we rent out a super cool venue downtown and we get a free dinner. That should be super fun. Overall, it’s nice to be back home and now that a lot of stress is off my shoulders I’m looking forward to finishing off the year strong!
