I am excited that a new round of the Ultimate Black Belt Challenge is starting at the beginning of December. This time, we will be following the journey of Lucas san and Cooper san as they work towards achieving their black belt goals.
David san and I will be on hand to provide tips and tricks along the way. We know firsthand the dedication and hard work it takes through the year, and we are eager to support Lucas san and Cooper san in their journey.
Some tips we would like to share with them (and all those embarking on their own black belt journey) include:
Practice regularly and consistently. It takes time and repetition to master the techniques and skills required for a black belt. Set aside dedicated time for training each week, and stick to a schedule as much as possible.
Stay motivated and focused. There will be days when you don’t feel like training, or when you face setbacks or challenges. It’s important to stay motivated and keep your eyes on your long-term goal. Find ways to stay inspired, whether it’s through reading about successful martial artists or setting short-term goals to help you stay on track.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. No one becomes a black belt on their own. Seek out the guidance of experienced instructors and mentors, and don’t be afraid to ask for help or clarification when you need it.
We wish Lucas san and Cooper san the best of luck on their black belt journey. We look forward to following their progress and sharing more tips and tricks along the way.
