Cooper Riegel – Week 20

This week was pretty fun. My mom, stepdad, and I hung out with our horses at the barn for a while and I took some good photos of my golden doodle. Later on I went to see the spring play at Placer called Ghostlight. It was about a girl who can see ghosts and meets the ghost of her older sister at a new school. Overall, it was really entertaining and fun to see a few of my friends on stage. I went with a group of friends I don’t see as often which was really nice. I also cut my hair. I was ready for a change and it was getting hot as the weather is warming up. Earlier in the week, we had an awesome lab in chemistry making rockets out of chalk and vinegar. My friend and I managed to make a rocket that went up about 25-30 feet! My dad and I went skiing this weekend as well and it was a super fun day on the hill. I broke my all-time speed record, getting up to 66.6 miles per hour going straight down a super steep slope. The next run set the record at 67.2 miles per hour after I almost lost control at the bottom. Trying to go as fast as I can is one of my favourite things to do when the mountain is clear and groomed.
