Cooper Riegel – Week 30

I spent the last half of this week in Juneau, Alaska with my dad, aunt, and uncle. We had a long day of travel mostly due to a 3 hour layover in Seattle. We are spending 5 days in Juneau along with most of my extended family on my dad’s side for my second cousin’s wedding. Juneau is incredible and the weather is perfect. The sun rises at about 4 in the morning and it is light until about 10 at night. So far we have gone to the Mendenhall Glacier and hiked around the area. The glacier is massive and really cool to see somewhat closely. We also walked around downtown Juneau, which is jam packed with diamond stores. The town itself is relatively small but is full of interesting art and stores. The best part of the trip so far has been seeing some family that I haven’t seen in several years.
