Cooper Riegel – Week 17

This week was the final week of school before spring break. I had a fun computer science project using an Arduino microcontroller to sequence buzzers, LEDs, and Servos. One of my friends and I created a scene where a guy was doing a “test your strength” game. His arm was on a servo and it would trigger the lights to move up and the buzzer would sound when they hit the top. Computer science has been my favorite class by far this year, never a dull moment in that class. Towards the end of the week, I was able to get up to the mountains to go skiing which was very nice. My dad and I got to ski with some friends we haven’t seen in a while and had a lot of fun. I also reached a new speed record on my skis at 61.2 miles per hour. Every week I go up to Sugarbowl I try to top my speed. I am hoping to get to 70 miles per hour by the end of the season, but I’m not sure that will happen.
